About
Also known as: Leipzig Philharmonic Orchestra
The Philharmonie Leipzig is an orchestra from Leipzig that brings together film music and the concert hall in a way that tends to win over audiences of all ages. Their programme of beloved cinematic scores draws from titles like Frozen, Harry Potter and The Lion King, performed without the films themselves on screen, letting the music stand entirely on its own. It is the kind of concert experience that works equally well for seasoned orchestral fans and families hearing these pieces live for the first time.
