About
Pitch Piekt! is an improv theatre show built around two performers, Rein Borcheld and Jonathan Perquin, with live musical direction by Wouter. The concept is deceptively simple: the audience hands over a single word, and from that seed the duo constructs an entire improvised musical on the spot. Every role, every song, every plot twist comes off the cuff, which means no two evenings are ever alike. Beyond the musical format, the show also takes detours into other forms of improv theatre, with Rein and Jonathan challenging each other and stepping together into genuinely uncharted territory. Not even the performers know what comes next. The result can swing from tense to touching to completely absurd, sometimes within the same scene.
