About
Poizi sits right where Turkish pop, trap and arabesk blur into one sound. He's part of a newer wave of Turkish artists who don't bother keeping those genres in separate boxes, and his songs lean melodic and melancholy, with a healthy dose of drama. The lyrics are mostly about heartbreak, sleepless nights and relationships that refuse to leave your head. Tracks like PERDE, UYUYAMADIN DİMİ? and Başımda Belalar pair modern beats with big Turkish melodies. It's music for listeners who move easily between hip hop and Turkish pop, and who always want a broken heart close at hand.
