About
David Poltrock is a Brussels based musician, producer, arranger and composer from Poperinge, Belgium, whose fingerprints are all over the Belgian music scene. He spent years as a keyboard player with Hooverphonic, and has done live and session work for acts including Triggerfinger, Adamo, The Blackbox Revelation and many more. Since 2014 he has been a permanent member of the Dutch language rock band De Mens. As a producer and arranger, Poltrock has been behind albums and tracks for Tom Helsen, Arid, K's Choice and Lois Lane, including three Belgian number one hits. He co wrote a gold selling album for Berlin rapper Prinz Pi that shifted 150,000 copies in Germany, and has composed film scores alongside Mario Goossens and Frank Vander Linden. He runs his own recording studio in Brussels, stocked with a serious collection of mechanical, electromechanical and electronic keyboard instruments from the 1950s through the 1980s. In 2018 he released three instrumental records under the Poltrock name.
