About
Portion Boys are a Finnish dance pop group out of Helsinki who spent years building a following through YouTube before breaking into the mainstream. Their members hail from Isojoki and Tampere, and after Sony Music Finland picked up their digital distribution in 2014, things started moving fast. They hit the Finnish singles chart for the first time in 2016 with "Pokemoneja", and have since reached the top ten on five further occasions. The peak came in the summer of 2021 when "Vauhti kiihtyy", a collaboration with Matti ja Teppo, went to number one and earned a double platinum certification. They also took a shot at Eurovision in 2023, finishing second in the Finnish national selection Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu with "Samaa taivasta katsotaan", pulling in 124 points from the televote alone. Their 2023 studio album Dynastia marks their most recent full release.
