About
Powerflo is a Los Angeles rap metal outfit that reads like a supergroup wishlist: Senen "Sen Dog" Reyes from Cypress Hill on vocals, Billy Graziadei from Biohazard on rhythm guitar, Christian Olde Wolbers from Fear Factory on bass, and Roy Lozano from Downset. holding it down on lead guitar. The connections between these musicians go back to the 1990s, when members were already guest appearing on each other's records, so when Lozano played some demos for Reyes in 2015, the chemistry was already there. Their 2017 self titled debut describes their sound as a cross between Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Cypress Hill, which tells you pretty much everything you need to know. "Resistance" landed as the official theme for WWE NXT, and "Where I Stay" racked up over a million views within weeks. They have since kept busy touring with the likes of P.O.D., Brujeria and Prong, and a second full length, Gorilla Warfare, followed in 2024.
