Pusha T built his reputation on razor sharp drug rap and an ear for hard hitting production, first as one half of Virginia duo Clipse alongside his brother Malice. The pair landed with Pharrell Williams and The Neptunes behind the boards, and their 2002 debut Lord Willin' went gold on the back of top 40 hits "Grindin'" and "When the Last Time". After years of label drama with Jive Records, they delivered the critically lauded Hell Hath No Fury in 2006 before parting ways in 2010. Going solo under Kanye West's GOOD Music imprint, Pusha T hit his stride with My Name Is My Name in 2013, peaking at number 4 on the Billboard 200. He kept climbing from there: Daytona landed at number 3, and It's Almost Dry in 2022 finally put him at number 1. West made him president of GOOD Music in 2015, a role he held until leaving the label in 2022. In 2025, Clipse reunited to release Let God Sort Em Out, which also reached number 4 on the Billboard 200.
