Starting out as a YouTube personality posting FIFA gameplay and freestyles, Quadeca has since carved out a genuinely distinct lane in experimental hip hop. His third album, I Didn't Mean to Haunt You, was a self produced concept record where he plays a ghost reckoning with his own suicide while his loved ones move on, featuring Danny Brown and the Sunday Service Choir, and released alongside a full accompanying film. Critic Anthony Fantano ranked its lead single "Born Yesterday" as the seventh best song of 2022, signalling a real shift in how the music world was paying attention. The mixtape Scrapyard followed in early 2024, pulling together outtakes and unreleased material with features from Brakence and Kevin Abstract. Fantano gave it a 9 out of 10 and placed it among the best albums of 2024, as did KTLA. His fourth album Vanisher, Horizon Scraper arrived in July 2025, again packaged with a film he wrote and directed himself, featuring Danny Brown, Maruja and Olēka.
