About
Rachel Croft has had her songs land in some pretty varied places: Netflix's Rebel Cheer Squad, BBC Two and CMT have all used her music. She's a British alternative singer songwriter from Nottingham who now bases herself in London, and her sound sits firmly in the singer songwriter camp with a leaning towards the alternative side of things. Her own songwriting really got going in April 2014, after she caught a Scott Matthews concert and decided to start writing originals rather than sticking to covers. Since then she has built up a catalogue that includes Only Dreams, Reap What You Sow and Chasing Time, all with official videos, plus live sessions like Weaver Bird recorded at Young Thugs Studio. She also isn't shy about a good cover, as her live take on Careless Whisper shows. In February 2024 she was named Caffè Nero's Artist of the Month.
