Radar Machine

About

Radar Machine take post punk as a starting point and bend it into something that sounds like only them. Bright, catchy guitars sit on top of tight drums and bass, while the vocals keep shifting in unexpected directions. The result is heavy, brooding music that can still turn hypnotic enough to dance to. Their songs work in waves. Ominous walls of sound swell up and then fall away, sharp little guitar motifs flash past melancholic outbursts, and dark vocals and poetic exclamations chase after it all. Our database files them under quiet storm, which suits the push and pull between the hushed and the stormy in their sound.
