About
Ramblin' Dog are a Dutch four piece who play blues with a semi acoustic setup, mixing their own compositions with carefully arranged covers of classic blues material. Their sound draws on guitars, blues harp, bass and percussion, with strong vocal contributions from multiple members. The band reached the final of the Dutch Blues Challenge in 2016 and walked away with the audience prize, which cemented their place in the Dutch blues scene. Their debut album We Will Voodoo You was warmly received by blues fans across the Netherlands. The lineup is Joep de Greef on lead vocals, blues harp and guitar, Frank Reemers on vocals and lead guitar, Markus Trum on bass, and Maurice Meesters on cajon, hi hat and percussion. Across different blues styles, they bring a feel that ranges from sensitive and soulful to loose and swinging.
