About
Rayen Panday is a comedian from Zaandam, born in 1983, whose road into cabaret ran through the student circuit. In 2008 he won the Personality Prize at the Groningen Student Cabaret Festival, and a few years later he started touring his first full evening show, Drie keer Rayen. More shows followed, including Vrijspraak and Niet Verder Vertellen, both of which aired on NPO 3. Fenomeen was the one that put him in front of the wider Dutch public. He has been part of the Comedytrain collective for years and is a familiar face on television, with appearances in The Roast, Weet ik veel, Ik Hou van Holland and LOL. He also makes Christmas theatre shows that mix comedy, live music and guests, such as All We Want For Christmas and Wonderful Christmastime.
