About
RE:UNION made their mark as the Dutch duo who took "Without You" to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004, qualifying through a semi final in Istanbul before finishing 20th in the final. The pair, Paul de Corte and Fabrizio Pennisi, had history together before the duo: both had been part of the Dutch boy band All Of Us, which dissolved in late 2002. When the opportunity came to enter the Nationaal Songfestival as a duo, they went for it and won the Dutch selection on 22 February 2004. Back home, "Without You" reached number 12 on the Dutch singles chart. A follow up single, "If You Love Somebody", came out in September 2004 and peaked at number 36. The duo parted ways shortly after, making RE:UNION one of the more memorable short chapters in Dutch Eurovision history.
