About
Relax Head Man, from Amsterdam, plays groovy garage punk with a strong 60s streak. The idea is to keep the dance floor moving without losing the rawness of punk, so you get sharp guitars and a saxophone riding on top, with plenty of multi voice singing wrapped around it all. It's the kind of energy that sticks around long after the last song. The band is a five piece. Tineke Voegop plays guitar and sings, Wim Elzinga handles bass and vocals, Thijs Elzinga takes the lead guitar, Natousch Gerritsen does percussion and vocals, and Sara Elzinga plays sax and sings. Maisie Red is their fifth album, and their music is on Bandcamp, Spotify and the other streaming services.
