About
Richard Fearless, born Richard Maguire, is the British musician behind Death in Vegas and Black Acid, two acts that helped shape the darker, more experimental edges of electronic music. He founded Drone Records, the label that released his 2016 record Transmission, and the imprint has been home to some genuinely strange and compelling output. One of his more striking moments came with "Consequences of Love", a coproduction with Sasha Grey that got remixed by Chris and Cosey and Michael Mayer, and later turned up on the Mission Impossible Fallout soundtrack in 2018. He splits his time between New York and a London studio, and his work consistently sits somewhere in the territory of drone, noise and brooding electronics.
