Ricky Gervais (GB)

About

Ricky Gervais has built a second career out of big, unfiltered stand up tours, and Netflix has turned most of them into specials. Four of his past tours, Humanity, Supernature, Armageddon and Mortality, broke box office records, and the last two of those won him Golden Globes for stand up comedy on television. He has also set attendance records for an English language comedy show in countries across Europe, including Spain, Italy, France, Germany and Sweden. His style is blunt, personal and happy to poke at anything, cancel culture included. He has a habit of giving part of his ticket income to charity, and the end of his Mortality tour saw 2.43 million pounds go to animal welfare organisations around the world.
