About
Roberta Sá is a Brazilian singer from Natal whose work sits at the heart of samba, MPB and bossa nova. She has built a reputation for richly layered vocal performances that draw on the deepest traditions of Brazilian music while keeping things fresh. Her album Delírio no Circo earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Samba/Pagode Album in 2017, a strong sign of how seriously the industry takes her craft. She has also crossed into broader cultural territory, appearing alongside Portuguese fado star Mariza and Angolan singer Paulo Flores in a campaign for TAP Portugal, the three of them performing the song Arms Wide Open together.
