About
Born in Cameroon and based in Berlin, Ronis Goliath built his early following through street performances in the German capital before graduating to major festival stages across Europe, including Lollapalooza Berlin. His sound pulls together Afrobeats, dancehall, R&B and pop into something warm and melodic, carried by a relaxed groove and soulful vocals. The lyrics tend to circle around identity, love and belonging, threading his African roots through the experience of life in Europe. Support slots alongside Peter Fox, Rag'n'Bone Man and Kota the Friend helped widen his audience considerably. He has also released a second EP titled The Game, which continues the Afropop direction that has been shaping his reputation as a distinctive new voice in the genre.
