Roope Salminen & Koirat is a Finnish band led by rapper and TV personality Roope Salminen, and their origin story is a good one: they started out as a cover band meant to play exactly one gig. Their song "Madafakin darra" and the album it came from, Madafakin levy, both hit number one on the Official Finnish Charts, turning what was essentially a joke project into a genuine chart act.
