About
Royal Buckets Jazz is a band from Den Bosch in the Dutch province of Noord Brabant that plays feel good jazz with a broad palette of influences: New Orleans, swing, gypsy and pop all feed into their sound. Their repertoire leans heavily on material from the first half of the twentieth century, served up in a style that works equally well as background listening or as fuel for the dance floor. Foxtrot, swing dance and Lindy Hop are all fair game when they play. The group is a proper ensemble, with sousaphone, drums, guitar, bugle, trumpet and ukelele in the mix alongside multiple vocalists. That combination gives them a full, warm brass and rhythm sound that suits everything from festivals and club nights to receptions and private parties.
