About
Ryan Castro put Medellín's street level reggaeton on the global map, and his trajectory from performing on city buses to sharing a stage with J Balvin at the MTV VMAs says a lot about how far he has come. His single "Mujeriego" broke into the Billboard Global 200, and "Jordan" racked up over 400 million YouTube views while holding a spot on the Spotify Global Top 50 for weeks. Those tracks helped establish him as a key voice in Latin America's nueva generación wave. His debut album El Cantante del Ghetto dropped in 2024 on Sony Music Latin, and the collab with Peso Pluma on "Quema" landed on both the Billboard Hot Latin Songs and the Hot 100. He has worked alongside Feid, Karol G, Bad Gyal, Ozuna and De La Ghetto, pulling together a resume that spans reggaeton, rap and dancehall. His 2025 release "LA VILLA" shows he is keeping the momentum going.
