Sabrina Claudio built her following the old fashioned way: uploading raw tracks to SoundCloud before anyone was paying attention. The Miami rooted singer's early singles like "Orion's Belt" and "Belong to You" quietly spread, with "Belong to You" eventually hitting number two on the Billboard Twitter Emerging Artists chart and earning a Gold certification from the RIAA. Her debut mixtape About Time landed at number 13 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, and Apple Music tapped her as their Up Next artist shortly after its release. Her sound sits somewhere between contemporary R&B and neo soul, intimate and unhurried in a way that rewards close listening. "Stand Still" from About Time became her most watched YouTube video, clearing 30 million views by 2024. She has since put out four albums, including Truth Is and the seasonal Christmas Blues, and picked up a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year after co writing "Plastic Off the Sofa" on Beyoncé's Renaissance.
