SAINt JHN built a reputation as a songwriter long before most people knew his name, penning tracks for Usher, Kiesza, and Hoodie Allen while quietly releasing his own material on the side. The Brooklyn and Guyana raised rapper signed to L.A. Reid's Hitco label and put out Collection One in 2018 and Ghetto Lenny's Love Songs in 2019, but his breakthrough came from an unlikely source: a 2016 deep cut called "Roses" that Kazakh DJ Imanbek flipped into a remix in 2019. That remix went to number one in Australia and the UK and cracked the top five of the Billboard Hot 100, powering his third album While the World Was Burning into gold certification. He also co wrote "Brown Skin Girl" for Beyoncé's Lion King project alongside Wizkid and Blue Ivy Carter, a song that swept the BET, NAACP Image, and Soul Train Music Awards. His fourth album, Festival Season, arrived in early 2025 as the first part of a larger project called Collection 2.
