About
Salmon On A Leash are a three piece rock band from Rotterdam, formed in 2021 by Stijn, Liam and Daan. Their sound pulls together modern rock, grunge and garage into something that feels urgent and physical, the kind of music that makes standing still genuinely difficult. Their debut EP Salmonidae got them onto stages at Patronaat, Vera, Bibelot and Eurosonic/Noorderslag, a solid run of venues for a young band still finding its footing. The album SMOLT marks the next chapter, a deliberately not too serious artistic direction built around songs with something to say. According to the band themselves, those songs are best experienced in the middle of a pit.
