About
Saltwound came out of California carrying the kind of beatdown hardcore aggression that gets taken seriously fast. After putting out two independent EPs, they landed on Good Fight Music and released their third EP, In the Shadow of the Valley of Death, in 2023, with a video for "Shadows Remain" to go with it. Their debut full length, The Temptation of Pain, dropped in November 2024, and vocalist Spencer Timmons called it a "back to form" moment for the band. Singles like "Hollow", "Severance", "Walking the Blade", and "Empty from the Start" set the tone for where the band is heading. They've also been putting in road work, joining tours with Maylene and the Sons of Disaster and The Last Ten Seconds of Life, building a reputation the hard way.
