About
Sam Beeton's debut single "What You Look For" had a pretty remarkable start: it was made "record of the week" on both Jo Whiley's and Scott Mills's shows on BBC Radio One, one after the other, and went on to reach number 30 in the UK Singles Chart in September 2008. His first album, No Definite Answer, landed on iTunes that same year, and he picked up a nomination for Best Pop Act at the BT Digital Music Awards, where he lost out to Kylie Minogue. The Nottingham singer songwriter has done plenty of time on the road with other people, supporting The Script, Sandi Thom, James Morrison, Scouting for Girls and Charlie Simpson on full UK tours, plus a UK tour of his own. Before the album he put out a debut EP, First Takes, in 2007, and later ran Sam Beeton's Record Club, released in two seasons between 2010 and 2012. He also modelled for Burberry's Spring 2009 collection.
