About
Selfmachine is a Dutch groove metal band that mixes heavy riffs with melodies that stick. Their debut album, Broadcast Your Identity, came out worldwide in 2014 through Wormholedeath and Aural Music. The following year they toured Europe as support for metalcore heavyweights The Agonist. For the follow up, Societal Arcade, the band travelled to Realsound Studios in Italy. Waldemar Sorychta and Dennis Koehne, the producers behind Moonspell, Samael and Grip Inc, handled the mix and master. After a release show at the Melkweg, the band played around the Netherlands and the UK, then appeared at Reeveland in Germany and Metaldays in Slovenia in 2018. They went quiet for a while before coming back. Live, they aim for something you stand right in the middle of rather than just watch.
