Send Me Flowers is the musical project of singer and songwriter Iris van Dijk, built around a sound where vulnerability and strength coexist. Her voice carries real emotional weight, and she channels it through a theatrical, folk tinged style that gravitates toward subjects that are hard to put into words. Melancholy and romanticism run through the music, but always with a directness that keeps it grounded. Performing with a full band, Van Dijk crafts songs that manage to unsettle and comfort at the same time.
