About
Also known as: MASC, 세븐어스
Sevenus is a South Korean duo made up of Heejae and Ireah, and their story starts with a second place finish on the survival show Peak Time. They went in as Team 7:00, a nod to the hour of the day each contestant group was assigned, and revealed their old group name, Masc, in the final episode. That name is where the roots go back further. Masc debuted in 2016 with the mini album Strange, went through several lineup changes, toured South America and Europe in 2019, and called it quits in 2020. After the show, Heejae and Ireah signed with PCS Entertainment and chose to carry on as a duo under a new name. The "seven" comes from Team 7:00, and the "us" is meant to be the fans. Their debut single album Summús landed on July 31 of that year, with "Wonder Land" as the lead single.
