About
Shantel is the DJ and producer behind Bucovina Club Orkestar, a project that throws Balkan pop, global bass, diaspora beats, Turkish psychedelia and electronica into one restless, dancefloor ready blend. The track "Disko Partizani" became an international calling card, capturing exactly what Shantel does best: colliding analog and digital sounds, Eastern and Western musical traditions, and folk roots with club culture. The result is music that refuses to sit still in any single genre box. Live, Bucovina Club Orkestar turns that recorded energy into something visceral and communal. The whole point is the crowd, the movement, the sense that all these wildly different musical worlds actually belong together on the same floor.
