About
Sharon Kips made her name winning the very first Dutch X Factor back in 2007, beating out a field of strong competitors to take the title. Her debut single Heartbreak Away shot straight to number one in the Dutch Top 40, a strong start for any artist. She followed that with albums 10 and Love Will Bring You Home, the latter title hinting at the gospel and Christian music direction she would lean into. In 2010 she came back into the public eye by entering the Dutch version of Popstars as a mystery candidate, making it all the way to the live shows and finishing third. These days she works within the gospel and Christian music scene, bringing the same vocal presence that first caught the Netherlands' attention.
