Running her sets at a relentless 160 beats per minute, Sherelle has carved out a distinct space in UK club culture by smashing together footwork, jungle, and hardcore in ways that feel both historically informed and completely fresh. Her 2019 Boiler Room set went viral and was the moment that let her go full time, leading to DJ Mag naming her best British DJ of 2020 and winning the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix the same year. Her 2021 debut EP, 160 Down the A406, drew serious praise from Resident Advisor, and the fabric mix released that same year cemented her reputation globally, with Pitchfork noting how she compresses decades of dance music history into tightly woven short segments. She co founded the Hooversound label with Naina and also created BEAUTIFUL, a label and project platforming Black and LGBT musicians. Her debut album WITH A VENGEANCE followed in 2025.
