Showtek (NL)

About

Also known as: Showtech

Showtek is a Dutch duo made up of brothers Wouter and Sjoerd Janssen from Eindhoven, who started out in techno and hardstyle before pivoting to the big room house and EDM sound that put them on the global map. Their collaborative approach has been a big part of the story: they worked with Tiësto across multiple projects, co produced a Chris Brown single, and teamed up with David Guetta and Vassy on "Bad", a track that charted on 19 different music charts for 239 weeks. Under their own label Skink, licensed through Spinnin Records, they kept building their catalog with artists like Hardwell, MAKJ, and Noisecontrollers. One of the more surprising turns came in 2023 when they returned to their hardstyle roots with a set at Qlimax: Enter The Void, their first hardstyle appearance in 15 years. That comeback led to their album "360 Blue", released in 2024.
