About
Sinbreed started out under the name Neoshine, releasing three demos before a legal dispute with an American company of the same name forced a rebrand. Based in Wiesbaden, Germany, the band plays a muscular style of power metal with a Christian metal edge. Their 2010 debut When Worlds Collide made a solid impression thanks in part to some notable guests, including keyboardists Morten Sandager of Pretty Maids and Joost van den Broek of After Forever. A real milestone came in 2012 when Blind Guardian guitarist Marcus Siepen joined full time, though he departed three years later due to scheduling conflicts. The band has kept evolving through lineup changes. After vocalist Herbie Langhans left in 2018, Nick Holleman stepped in, and new guitarist Manuel Seoane, known from Mägo de Oz, joined alongside him. That same year they put out their fourth studio album IV through Massacre Records, adding another chapter to a discography that now spans four full lengths released over the course of about a decade.
