About
Sofiane Pamart is a French pianist from Lille who built an unlikely bridge between the conservatoire and the rap game. A gold medal graduate of the Conservatoire de Lille, he carved out a distinctive niche by lending his classical piano sensibility to French and Belgian hip hop, collaborating with rappers like Koba LaD, Vald, Maes, and Dinos. In 2019 he picked up gold certifications as a songwriter on two tracks, "Matin" by Koba LaD featuring Maes and "Journal Perso II" by Vald, both of which appeared on gold certified albums. His sound draws heavily on Chopin, Ravel, and Debussy, and he has spoken openly about how those classical roots shape every composition he writes. Not everyone in the classical world is a fan, with some critics comparing him to Richard Clayderman, but that crossover appeal is precisely the point. He has also worked with Formula One driver Charles Leclerc, and his solo output includes tracks like "Nara", "LOVE", "DEAR", and the more recent "Noche".
