About
Soy Kroon is a Dutch actor, singer and presenter from Eindhoven who has built an impressively varied career across theatre, film and television. He made a big splash with the general public through his role as Sil Selmhorst in the Videoland series Nieuwe Tijden, and before that had a stint in Goede tijden, slechte tijden. On stage he has taken on everything from the role of Sky in Mamma Mia! to a solo theatre show based on Merlijn Kamerling's book about his father, Antonie Kamerling. His singing voice got a massive nationwide introduction when he played the youngest Jesus ever in The Passion 2022, and he followed that by winning the drag queen competition show Make Up Your Mind under the alias DeeDeeSky, with only Nikkie Tutorials figuring out who he really was. He won the Televizier Talent Award in 2022, starred in the Netflix film Oei, ik groei!, and later took the top prize in The Masked Singer performing as Pegasus, stumping the entire panel.
