About
Also known as: Ari Fishman
Starjunk 95 is built around a fictional, anime inspired crew of misfits running an intergalactic radio station. The concept pulls from the visual and narrative world of Cowboy Bebop and mashes it together with something closer to Gorillaz or Daft Punk. Each member of the crew represents a different sound and style, and the project uses that framework to blend contemporary rally house and breakcore with a heavy dose of vintage nostalgia. It is the kind of act where the lore and the music feed each other equally.
