Suzan Peeters is a Belgian accordionist with a genuinely unusual approach to her instrument. Rather than playing it straight, she runs the accordion through effect pedals, pairs it with a laptop, and even uses a vibrating plank to pull sounds out of it that most people would never associate with the instrument. The results are striking enough to generate real buzz around her work.
