Seven Eska Music Awards, a string of number one hits, and albums going triple platinum: Sylwia Grzeszczak has quietly become one of Poland's most consistent pop forces. The singer, songwriter and pianist first broke through alongside Liber on their 2008 debut Ona i On, then stepped out solo with Sen o przyszłości in 2011, a record that shot to the top of the OLiS chart and eventually earned triple platinum. Her follow up, Komponując siebie, stayed in the OLiS top ten for sixteen weeks straight, and tracks like "Małe rzeczy", "Pożyczony" and "Księżniczka" all reached number one on the AirPlay chart. What sets Grzeszczak apart is the sheer range she brings to Polish pop. She trained as a classical pianist, composes for other artists, and has a knack for turning radio ready singles into genuine long runners. "Małe rzeczy" sold more copies on Muzodajnia.pl than any other track in the platform's first five years. Her 2016 album Tamta dziewczyna added another double platinum to her tally, and the title track again topped the AirPlay list.
