About
Synapson are a Paris based duo who blend deep house, nu disco, and electro with live instrumentation, which already sets them apart from most acts in their lane. Alexandre Chiere handles keyboards, saxophone, and vocals while Paul Cucuron brings drums and scratch into the mix, giving their productions a genuinely organic feel. Their album Convergence crossed genre lines freely, pulling in world music, hip hop, house funk, and pop, and it charted in both France and Belgium. Two of its singles broke into the French top 12: a rework of Burkinabé artist Victor Démé's "Djôn'maya" reached number 12, and "All in You" featuring Anna Kova climbed to number 10. Their 2018 track "Hide Away" featuring Holly took on a second life years later when it went viral off the back of an internet meme, introducing the duo to a whole new wave of listeners.
