About
Tante Alie's Metal Koor grew out of a happy accident. During one of the metal quiz and karaoke nights that Tante Alie runs, the whole crowd spontaneously started singing along together, and it sounded good enough to spark an idea: why not start an actual metal choir? The concept is deliberately inclusive. You don't need to be a great singer, or even a passable one. Enthusiasm counts for far more than pitch, and rehearsals exist precisely to sort the rest out. The repertoire leans into the full metal spectrum, from soaring power ballads to classic and newer metal anthems, the kind of songs that make you reach for an imaginary guitar. The vibe is social and unpretentious, welcoming hardcore metalheads, closet karaoke champions and the simply curious in equal measure.
