About
TÄRA coins her own genre tag for a reason. The Palestinian Italian singer and songwriter calls her sound "Arab'n'B", and it really is that: contemporary R&B woven through with Arab textures, dabke rhythms, and the kind of multilingual flow that slips between Italian, English and Arabic like it's nothing. She performs in traditional Palestinian attire with tatreez embroidery and Palestinian keys, making every show as much a cultural statement as a concert. She built a following through SoundCloud releases before landing on Spotify's Equal playlist and competing on the eighteenth edition of Italian X Factor in 2024. Her single "Araba fenice" (Arab Phoenix) gave her a real breakthrough moment, and "Mezzaluna" was shortlisted for the prestigious Sanremo Giovani selection. That track became the lead single for her debut EP Zefiro, out in 2026. She pulls from a wild range of influences, from Umm Kulthum and Fairuz to FKA Twigs and Metro Boomin, and somehow it all fits.
