About
Taylor Acorn started out in country music before making a sharp turn into pop punk and alternative rock around 2020, and the shift stuck. Drawing on early 2000s energy in the vein of Paramore and Avril Lavigne, she built a following with singles like "Psycho" and "Shapeshifting", then expanded her reach with the 2023 EP Certified Depressant, which featured a collab with Cassadee Pope on "Coma" and sent her out on her first headlining tours across the US and Australia. She kept the momentum going with her debut full length Survival In Motion in 2024, a title pulled from a poetry phrase she found while writing with collaborator Emma Lynn. Her second album, Poster Child, followed on Fearless Records in 2025, digging into mental health and childhood nostalgia. It landed at number 89 on the Official UK Album Downloads Chart and earned a solid three out of five from Kerrang!, a decent stamp of approval in that corner of the scene.
