TENGGER has one upcoming show in the Netherlands: on November 6, 2026 at TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht.
About
Tengger takes its name from a Mongolian phrase meaning "big sky without boundaries", and the music tends to live up to it. The Seoul based electronic group is built around a couple, Korean musician Itta and Japanese musician Marquido, who started out in 2005 under the name 10 (Ten). The name changed after their son was born, and he later joined the band as well. Their sound leans experimental and devotional. Minishiko, from 2014, was recorded while they travelled around temples in Japan, and Pitchfork later described the band's music as a fascination with devotional sound making when Spiritual 2 arrived in 2019. Since then they have kept a steady run of albums going, including Nomad, Earthing and a self titled record in 2023.
