About
Tenside built their reputation in the heavier corners of Europe through relentless touring and a string of festival appearances at Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze and With Full Force. They have shared stages with Five Finger Death Punch, Trivium and Killswitch Engage, and their album Come Alive Dying reached number six on the German album charts, with additional chart placements in international rock and metal categories. Aurorawave, fronted by Nathan Aurora, takes a different angle on heavy music, weaving reggae and alternative rock influences into the mix. The two acts crossed into official collaboration territory with Receiver Of The Dark 2.0, a joint rework of Tenside's track that fuses their modern metal sound with Aurorawave's reggae tinged textures. The S.O.S. motif running through the song frames the whole project as two bands answering the same distress call from very different directions.
