Termanology built his name on a 2006 DJ Premier produced single, "Watch How It Go Down", that turned heads internationally and landed him in XXL's "Show & Prove" column. His debut solo record Politics as Usual followed in 2008 on Nature Sounds, pulling together a remarkable roster of producers including Pete Rock, Large Professor, Easy Mo Bee, and Buckwild alongside Premier himself. Critics liked it, even if some felt it never quite matched the punch of that breakthrough single. The Lawrence, Massachusetts rapper has rarely slowed down since. Prolific mixtape runs like the Hood Politics series and If Heaven Was A Mile Away sit alongside a string of collaborative albums, pairing him with Statik Selektah as the duo 1982, with Lil Fame of M.O.P. on Fizzyology, and with Paul Wall on Start 2 Finish in 2022. He even contributed an original track to the Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned soundtrack, showing up in places you might not expect.
