About
The Bane Grams makes music that sits in a heavy, reflective place, somewhere between melancholy and hope. The themes keep circling back to the baggage people collect over a lifetime, the invisible weight we all carry around and that quietly shapes who we turn out to be. Listeners tend to reach for big names when they try to pin the sound down. Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Eddie Vedder and Jeff Buckley all come up in comparisons, and so do Eels and Anohni and the Johnsons. It's the kind of material that rewards sitting still and paying attention rather than talking over it.
