Benn Jordan, recording as The Flashbulb, is a Chicago based electronic musician who refuses to stay in one lane. His work spans ambient, drum and bass, IDM, breakcore and experimental territory, often folding them together in ways that feel genuinely unpredictable. Under this pseudonym he has built a dedicated following among fans of electronic music with real texture and personality to it. He also releases music under other names including Acidwolf and Human Action Network, which gives you a sense of how restless and wide ranging his creative output is. The 2010 release Undiscovered Colors came with an official video and a live performance film, pointing to an artist who puts real thought into the visual side of things too. His 2017 track Cycles shows he has kept pushing the project forward well into the decade.
