About
Also known as: TGM
Out of the Los Angeles beat scene, The Glitch Mob carved out a sound that blends glitch, dubstep, electronica, and drum and bass into something genuinely their own. What started as a four piece grew into the trio of edIT, Ooah, and Boreta, who built their reputation through live sets using laptops and MIDI controllers, eventually taking that show to festivals worldwide. Their 2010 debut Drink the Sea put them on the map, and the follow up Love Death Immortality debuted at number one on the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart and number 13 on the Billboard 200 in 2014. Their remix of Seven Nation Army ended up in trailers for G.I. Joe: Retaliation and Battlefield 1, and their music has popped up everywhere from Amazon Echo ads to the TV series Person of Interest. For their 2014 tour they rolled out a custom stage piece called The Blade, built by movie set designers to house both lights and instruments.
