About
Watford indie rock outfit The Hunna punch well above their hometown's profile. Formed in 2015, the four piece built their reputation fast: their 2016 debut album 100 landed at number 13 on the UK Albums Chart and cracked the US Alternative Songs chart with the single "You and Me". They toured with Jimmy Eat World, headlined festival stages at Reading and Leeds multiple times, and sold out Brixton Academy before their third birthday as a band. Their sound pulls from a broad pool of influences, Kings of Leon and Foals sitting alongside The 1975 and Queen, and their collaborations have been just as eclectic. Third album I'd Rather Die Than Let You In featured Travis Barker and a co write with Josh Dun from Twenty One Pilots, showing a willingness to push well outside the guitar band comfort zone. The name itself nods to hip hop slang for a hundred, and the band say it reflects their all in approach to everything they do.
